At the time they run for office, candidates for President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, and Board of Trustees Representative must have completed no less than 30 credit hours; candidates for Treasurer and Secretary must have completed no less than 15 credit hours.

All candidates must be able to serve their position for a full academic year (fall and spring semester).

The Student Representative to the Board of Trustees must be at least 18 years of age by the beginning of the office term.

Transfer students must have been enrolled for one full academic year prior to running for office.

All presidential candidates must reside on campus.
