Geoff Warren, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, is a 1979 graduate of Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School. He made three consecutive State Championship appearances, winning the title in 1977. He was named tournament champion Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1979 and was selected to the Ohio High School Hall of Fame in 2000.

Warren played his collegiate ball at Kent State University (OH) and graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice

Warren is entering his 20th year of coaching, starting his career at Cuyahoga Community College (OH). He also coached at Ohio Junior College. He helped develop two NBA players -- Trevor Ruffin of the Phoenix Suns and last year's NBA champions Detroit Piston's Ben Wallace.

Warren has also coached five years in the professional leagues in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
