Terry Futrell is a native of Ottawa Lake, Michigan. Coach Futrell is a 1976 graduate of Whiteford Agricultural High School. He held numerous Whiteford High School records and was voted MVP, All-Region his senor year as helped his team to the schools first District Title in many years. Terry played his collegiate ball at the Defiance College in Defiance, OH. Terry was name MVP of the 1980 Defiance Team, which advanced to the NAIA National Tournament, held in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2003, Terry was inducted into the Defiance College Athletic Hall of Fame. Terry most recently coached at Xenia High School, in Xenia, OH. He also coaches a Pro-Fam Team that competes each year in Louisville, KY for players trying to continue their career overseas. Terry works at numerous camps throughout the summer. He has a wife named Anita and four children; Tommy, Shahonna, Justin, and Kara all presently attending college. |
