Awards The Wilberforce University Men’s Basketball Team annual awards ceremony was held on campus at the Health and Wellness Center. Head Coach Geoff Warren along with Assistant Coach Terry Futrell selected outstanding players to receive awards. The Most Valuable Player award went to senior guard, Mike Menchaca from Toledo Ohio. Junior, forward Rawlston Charles, a Pasadena California native, received the Top Offensive Award. The Bulldog’s Top Defensive Player was Karim Jackson a senior guard from Columbus, Ohio. Daniel Balwigaire a junior forward from Hemet, California received the SportsmanshipCoaches Award. The Bulldog Scholar Athlete Awards went to the following players with a GPA of 3.0 or higher Daniel Balwigaire, Dwight Cass, Rawlston Charles, Karim Jackson, Mike Menchaca, and Scott Mills. Congrats! All-ConferenceRawlston Charles was selected to the American Mideast Conference All-Conference Basketball Team. Mike Menchaca earned All-Conference Honorable Mention.
