On Saturday, February 2010, at 2:00pm, Dr. John s. Wilson, Jr, Executive Director of The White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Rev. Lee Washington, pastor of Reid Temple A.M.E. Church are hosting “HBCUs and the Future of Faith, Higher Education and Service”.   President Hardaway will serve on a panel with Bishop Adam Richardson, Presiding Prelate of the Second Episcopal District of the A.M.E. Church; Dr. George French, Jr., President, Miles College; Mr. Paul Monteiro, Associate Director Office of Public Engagement, the White House; and Ms. Dawn “Mikki” Holt, Ph.D. Candidate.  

The program celebrates the importance of higher education and the vital impact of the “Church” in establishing colleges to educate women and men of African descent in America.
