(from left: Dr. Aaron Horne, President Patricia Hardaway, Dr. Nodie Washington)
The Fall-Winter edition of the Wilberforce University Faculty Journal was issued to the University’s community of scholars on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, a day after the historic election of Senator Barack Obama as the first African-American President of the United States of America. With a celebratory atmosphere, faculty, staff, administrators and students received their own personal copy of the Journal. The Journal is designed to feature scholarly faculty work that highlights ideas about innovative teaching and research. Thought-provoking papers are expected to increase the intellectual curiosity of faculty and students. The Faculty Journal helps the university fulfill key components of its mission; namely, imparting knowledge and inspiring lifelong learning among our students.
