African King of Comedy to Perform at Dawn Dance 2007!!

To kick-off Dawn Dance Alumni Weekend 2007, Wilberforce University proudly presents Dawn Dance featuring the Coronation of Mr. and Miss Wilberforce and performances by BET Comedians Michael Blackson and Kellye Howard.  Dawn Dance will take place on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11:00PM in the Alumni Multiplex.

Considered one of the most original foreign comics in the United States, Michael K. Blackson, The African King of Comedy hails from West Africa and has appeared on BET Comic View, HBO Snaps, Uptown Comedy Hour, "Lean On Me" (movie), and most recently, BET's Live From LA with Michael Colyar. He also appeared in the movie "Next Friday" starring Chris Tucker, Ice Cube and Mike Epps released December 1999.

Opening for Blackson is Kellye Howard. Kellye has performed in comedy clubs all around the nation, as well as acted in theaters in both Chicago and Los Angeles. Kellye was featured on the TBS networks "Hot Girls of Comedy w/ Pauley Shore" as a principle comic as well as performed at festivals such as Laffapalooza with Jamie Foxx.
