Summer Tour Huge Success
August 1, 2006
The Wilberforce University Choir traversed throughout the entire western region of the United States in its second west coast tour. This tremendously successful tour presented the choir in song to Boise, Idaho; Seattle and Tacoma, Washington; Portland, Oregon; San Francisco, California; Los Angeles, California; and Las Vegas, Nevada. In each of these cities the choir visited numerous high schools and churches as musical ambassadors of Wilberforce University. With this second tour, the choir has amassed a significant following from this region with a number of supporters and students who have matriculated to Wilberforce University for this upcoming school year.
Take a look at the postcards created by the choir during this tour. These postcards were sent to students throughout the country that showed interest in the music program at Wilberforce. The tour started on May 8 and ended on May 25, 2006.
