Since 1975, EBONY has celebrated Black collegiate women through the platform HBCU Campus Queens. These young women are poised, and work endlessly to make a positive change in the community. Taylor Denise Marie Belle, Miss Wilberforce 2017-2018, will be featured on the EBONY HBCU Campus Queens site as a contestant. Online voting will go live on November 15, 2017 until January 15, 2018, and only 10 will have the honor of being featured in the highly-anticipated April/May 2018 issue of EBONY magazine.
Taylor, is a senior at Wilberforce University,with a dual major in Social Work and Sociology. In 2014, she graduated from Jefferson Township High School in Dayton, Ohio with an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and Communication Sciences along with her high school diploma. During her time at Wilberforce University, Taylor has served in a plethora of leadership roles including: Student Ambassador, Resident Assistant, Cheerleader, Women’s Initiative Advisory Board, SALT Leadership team, and as a mentor to many young women on campus. Upon graduation, Taylor plans on attending law school. Taylor’s career goal are to become an attorney focusing on the revision and submission of public policies and procedures.
