In assessing your financial need or the aid for which you may be eligible to receive, the Office of Financial Aid takes into consideration the cost of your attendance at Wilberforce University and your ability to pay based on the analysis of your resources and the resources of your parents. The cost of attendance at Wilberforce University includes allowances for actual or direct charges to attend such as tuition and fees, room, board, books and supplies as well as indirect costs that you incur such at travel or transportational expenses and personal expenses.
For eligible students who apply in a timely manner, financial aid awards or packages will consist of several sources, usually in the forms of work, grants and scholarships, and loan. Limiting funding prevents the Office of Financial Aid from constructing packages for most of our students that provide aid to cover books and supplies and personal and incidental expenses.
