We are delighted that you are interested in visiting Wilberforce University. Wilberforce University, the nation’s oldest private Historically Black College, strives each day to accomplish its mission of developing the total person. Through internships, rigors academic curriculum, student organization participation, and religious emphasis, students graduate ready to face the demands of the 21 st Century. With a student population of approximately seven hundred, students have easy access to professors and develop life long friendships. Come visit our family!

Below is information that will help facilitate your visit to campus.

Tour Schedule
Wilberforce University offers tours Monday- Friday at 9am, 11am and 2pm. No Tours on Saturdays or Sundays. Tours will be conducted by our Student Ambassadors. We encourage all guests to arrive approximately ten minutes early to ensure a successful and complete tour. Plan on spending at least an hour and a half on our beautiful campus. Please wear comfortable shoes, as you will be doing a great deal of walking.

The University will not conduct tours on the following dates:

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day- Monday, January 16, 2012
Spring Break- March 5-9, 2012
Career Fair- Thursday, March 29, 2012
Presidential Honor’s Convocation- TBA
Good Friday- Friday, April 6, 2012
University Institute- Monday, April 9, 2012
Final Exams- April 27- May 3, 2012
Memorial Day- Monday, May 28, 2012
Independence Day- Wednesday, July 4, 2012
New Students & Returning Students’ Registration & First Week of Classes – July 30- August 10, 2012
Labor Day- Monday, September 3, 2012


Tour Departure Location
All campus tours begin at the Office of Admissions, located in the Wolfe Administration Building. Please check in at the reception desk there you will obtain further instructions from our friendly staff.

Special Accommodations
We want all guests to enjoy there visit to Wilberforce University, thus it is imperative that the Office of Admissions is informed of guest who have special needs.

All guests are encouraged to park in the Wolfe Building Visitors section. No special parking pass is needed. Tour buses are required to unload at the Alumni Multiplex and proceed by foot to the Wolfe Building. Please notify the Office of Admissions if you will be bringing a large group.

Directions to our institution can be obtained from this link. The best time to visit our campus is during the weekday, when school is in session. Guests who are unable to come during the week can schedule a Saturday tour pending availability of Student Ambassadors. To schedule a tour, call our Campus Tour Coordinator at 800.367.8568 or submit a request online. We encourage all guests to provide at least a two week advance notice.
