Research Opportunities:
Research opportunities exist for the motivated students through two mandatory internship placements which allow for practical, hands-on experience, as well as through the individualized Senior Seminar course and other venues.
Special Interest Story:
At Wilberforce University, most of the courses in the HSA major are taught in small classes by instructors with real experience in the profession, allowing much opportunity for discussion and exposure to practical applications.
When our students graduate they will have had real experience in the field, due to our required internship (CO-OP) program, which has placed our students in internships at VA Hospitals, Children’s Hospitals in Ohio, LA Plastic Surgery, the EPA and other Health Management Providers.
